Looks like the BBS is using about half the cpu time on this system when max
is running in console mode.  I assume it is because of the way the keyboard
is being polled to support hot keys.  Since I run with hot keys turned off,
I wonder if there is a way to tweak this to be less cpu intensive.    I
know, I really need to switch over to using max through the regular user
interface and not through the console mode like I'm used to under OS/2.....
