subject: File name processing....

Wes:

When I get the chance, I'm going to have to look at how you are currently
handling file name processing in the port. There is some funky
interactions of that code along with handling of file extension information
along with how that interacts with the wildcard capability of the unix type
of shells.... Some wild card options that work with the tools under OS/2
don't work under Linux. Part of this is the issue of how the shell is
interpreting wild cards, where under OS/2 the shell passed the info on to
the program for interpretation..... I may not be quoting the wild cards
properly to get past the shell....

Take care.....
