What commands are you using at the moment? If those include AT+FCLASS=2, that's
the source of your problem; when told +FCLASS=2, a Rockwell modem will
always answer in fax mode. (USR readers should note that this is different
to their modem, which requires their equivalent to enable adaptive answer.)
