snippage of Hildi madness...

I remember a room that ended up magenta and anthracite grey - in quarters. 
Even the fireplace.  I can't remember if that was Hildi or Doug - I think Hildi
- and I remember thinking 'oh my GOD, I would kill someone who painted my
fireplace two colors'.  I did like Genevieve's kitchen makeover that
incorporated plates with photos on them - of kids, of old relatives.  She made
the woman cry from happiness (better than that shell-shocked expression we've
seen on occasion).  

Trading Spaces is good for ideas, but... no way in hell would I trust those
designers loose in my house.  Even Vern.  No, no, no.
