  Just getting back to the computer after a little (yet much needed) 
vacation.  I'm guessing that there was some discussion of the Mar 96 
Education Summit in this echo back around that time, however I wasn't 
pulling the echo in then.  Do you archive the conference? and if so 
could I get the archives from that period?  (probably Mar to May 96).
 
  My reading has taken me down the "standards" trail and I'd like to 
know a little of what has come before in this echo so I don't rehash a 
lot of info that has already been presented.

oh, I'll post my comments regarding the _Business Leader's Guide to 
Setting Academic Standards_ later today.  This guide started me on the 
topic of standards and it's been quite interesting to pursue.
