I'm sorry to have to ask the same question once again but this problem keeps
puzzling me.
While running Win95/98 in a 4.11 network I'm able to 'control' the other
workstations in the network. After I installed the Novell 32bit client, the
network neighborhood only shows me the server and DNS.
Someone in this newsgroup once advised me to install the microsoft client to
solve this problem. When I tried this, I got the message that this client
couldn't be loaded in combination with the Novell client.
So, at this moment I can either use Win95/98 with the Microsoft client to
control the rest of the network or I can use the Novell client to be able to
do some administering. Since we have very steep stairs in the building I'd
rather combine the benefits of the both. I'm convinced that it should be
possible.
The current solution (2 workstations, 1 running Dos 6.22 with VLM and Win
311) really doesn't seem like the best one.
What am I doing wrong? What did I forget? Where dit I fumble?
Please suggestions
