I've always used the telnet address. 
Juxtaposition was one of the main anime BBSes from way back before 
I discovered anime. 

I don't know Steve personally. 
I have just corresponded in his support area a few times.

I used to call Juxta long distance, before I discovered the library's 
internet conection, and BBSNETS. 
BBSNETS has an easier to use menu system and file transfer system (at 
least for me). 
The Sysop also added the Anime-Net message areas at my request. 
Unfortunately, with so many people going to Internet newsgroups, a lot 
of message areas are disappearing because of lack of use.
