Here is a revised shell script for this particular point which will yield a
result for this particular pkt (once I save this message that is);

    OUTBOUND=$HOME/janis/out/01050026.clo
    if [ -e $OUTBOUND ] ; then
       for pkt in `cat $OUTBOUND` ; do
       echo "Outbound pkts for bossnode:"
       ls -al $pkt
    done
    else
       echo "No pkt's for bossnode :-("
    fi

I am logged into a different console and it currently shows;

    tothings:~$ outbound.sh
    No pkt's for bossnode :-(

which is right.  However ... (see next message)
