Hello David!
Remember some time ago you said that Borland was about the only compiler
that didn't warn about
char c; int x;
c = x;
??? Well, it now generates those warnings. :-( This is a significant
change to my programming style, where I like to use ints instead of chars,
to hold characters, and expect the two to be interchangeable. :-( Oh
well, worst things happen at sea (according to Mike, anyway). I know you
gave arguments for the warning, but I still preferred my theory that if
fgetc() returns a character in an integer, then I'll use integers to store
my characters. :-( I suppose I could always just disable the warning! :-)
Either that or I could spend more time drawing smileys, and less time
writing code :-/. :- &^^^----##### (well at least it's
original). :-) :-/ :-( (: BFN.
