-=>While in the White Hart, Joan Renne explained to Fred Runk that<=-
JR> I'm with you on this one Fred. I hit the bookstore about the 10th day
JR> of the month to pick up the new releases in paperback. I finally
I don't dare do that. I stay away as much as possible (humanly possible
anyway--nowhere near divinely possible ) from bookstores. Dens of
iniquity!
JR> bought a pair of bookcases from a bookstore going out of business
JR> (because of hugh stores). My only problem is that I didn't buy enough!
I know the situation. I now have two bookcases, devoted solely to books
that are unread or scheduled for a reread.
JR> I've got a basement full of boxes of both hb and pb with no where to
JR> put them so I can re-read all those goodies from 15 to 20 years ago.
JR> :(
I also have eight bookcases of stuff already read, and many of which are
working on making the reread list.
JR> I know that somewhere I have all of Philip Wylie and Ayn Rand's books,
JR> but darned if I can find them. I did find all of the W.E.B. Griffen
Philip Wylie--haven't heard that name in awhile. What do you have by him?
JR> One of these days I'll luck out and find more bookshelves at low
JR> prices and I'll put all the books where I can find them!
yeah, right. That'll last for about a month or two.
