  After reading your message I was really upset and thought I would give
my point of this issue.   You are right he knows that he is going home to the
other side so, why can't these stupid doctors give him what he wishes???
I'll tell you why! because they would loose thier ability to drain him of
what ever finaces he might have.  The whole thing boils down to how much
money that they can get out of him and his family NOT what is the best for
him and his needs!  They are NOT Terrified of what can happen if the family
takes them to court or anything else all it boils down to is like I said;
MONEY the all quote "Mighty Dollar"!  Sadley enough this is an issue that we
face every day of our lifes and it happens to the best of us all.   I am
faceing this problem also.  My Mother is Terminal with Cancer and her wish
is to be home with her family when he time comes to go to the other side.
She has a "Living Will"  which states she DOES NOT want to be kept alive
by any aftifical means...no machines no life supports ect.... however;
that is NOT what will happen because the persons well being is NOT the issue
the MONEY is the issue and how much can they drain you to pay these monsterus
hospital bills that are adding up as you are being forced to stay on these
machines and other devices that the Doctors SAY you need so, that they can
play with your Life as if they have something to say about it.  Wrong they
are NOT the creator of Life or death and my opinion is this if your wish is
to go home without all the artifical means then you should have that right
as a human being.  God Only has a say NOT these Doctors who try and play
with Lives!   I will pray for your friend and hope that this horrible
tragedy is stopped so that he can cross over to the other side with dignity
and peace of mind.  God Bless!
