Okay, here's 'cute'...

Men dressed in camoflage spend $10,000 to hunt women out in the Nevada
desert. The catch? The women can't wear anything more than sneakers, and
the men are hunting them with paintballs. If a woman makes it through
without being hit, she
gets $2,500... if she's hit she only gets $1,000.

Nice to know that stupidity still reigns in the world.


And... Sunday, Rhode Island state police raided the Naragansett Indian
reservation in Coopertown, RI -- it seems the Indians were selling tax-free
cigarettes... I guess someone in the state was pissed about not getting
their cut.

What's wrong with that? Several things... for one, the Indians shouldn't
have been selling them tax-free, but you can't really blame them there -
they're not the richest of tribes. Also, sending in the state police was
wrong... any Indian
reservation is *Federal* land, not state... the state cops had no authority
there. The cops also used a lot of unnecessary force... quite a few people
were hospitalized, and more than a dozen arrested. .
