Hello all,

    If anyone knows how to fix this please respond. I sit in a small cubicle
with a Novell 4.1 server and a couple of workstations. Every 2 minutes
exactly (I've timed it) the server makes a "ding" noise and displays this
message:

        Synthetic time is being issued on partition "ABCXYZ."

    What exactly is this? and does anyone know how to make it stop WITHOUT
disconnecting the speaker? Please help because this is driving me up a tree.
