Probably the different versions is the reason.  Like I said before this version
does the word wrapping correctly except it puts a hard return at the end of the
line where it shouldn't add one at all.  I sent a follow up one with the
subject, "man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long", which
applies the 'fix' so that should tell the tale.  Also a mess of utf8 characters
on one of the paragraphs just to make it a tad more difficult.  It displays
perfect here using 'LANG=en_CA.utf8 fold -s -w $COLUMNS' on the commandline
once all the FTN crap has been sent to the bitbucket where it belongs.  :::evil

 NB> I may get to like vim after all.

It is the best implimentation of vi that there ever was ... possibly ever will
be.  Takes a bit of getting used to but definetly is worth the extra effort ...
and then some.  There is no better editor.
