Hello, Maurice.
NB>> Is that while using the -$ (softwrap) switch?
MK> No but I just sent another one with the -$ switch and it behaves exactly
MK> the same as you should soon see and confirm.
And at the same time you're not seeing that problem coming from my system?
NB>> I'll have to take that up with developers at a later time.
MK> Best of luck with that. They don't have a decent terminal program as a
MK> rule so it tends to be a waste of time from my experience dealing with
MK> so-called developers.
I don't have many issues at all with the developers of most of the software I
use. Golded may be the only one where the communication barrier is difficult.
So getting rid of that might make life a little easier. :)
NB>> it isn't wrapping the whole word to the next line, but rather
NB>> doing the same thing nano does
MK> Try putting 'set lbr' in your personal or global vimrc. I have it in the
MK> global /etc/vimrc since way back when. Works like a charm.
That did the trick. Thank you for that! I'll also take a look at your status
bar as well, as I'm using the default currently, and it doesn't really give
much to look at.
MK> ... Don't cry for me I have vi.
So do I now! :)
Regards,
Nick
