Self after the way you have write it should be done is cygwin fails with
compile smapi and nltools.
But when I now have looked closely on what cygwin terminal shows is it
looking like the setup ad install of cygwins files have the cygwin install
program missed to install its own libraries and mail files for cygwin-*
directories and just have the mingw directories for the files.
So when compile smapi and nltools is it looking in the directory there not
is there for cygwin gcc and libraries with .c and .o files, but not found
here and too search and look in cygwin-mingw dirs where the .c and .o files
is found for 1stchar and nldiff and to is say {at}16 when it should {at}32, so
the end with error of not finding files.
