Hee.  Not *that* dire... I can handle being awake early for a purpose, but
dadnabbit, I do NOT want to talk.  Just.  Leave.  Me.  Alone.  Far worse than
Loren is my early-bird boss, who has been known to follow me down the hall as I
walk in, come into my office, and start in on 'things to be done' as I am
booting up my machine and taking off my coat.  He, too, has learned that The
Look means 'come back at 8:05.'
