Is that while using the -$ (softwrap) switch? I don't think I've ever come
across that issue before.
While we're on the subject. I'm currently replying to this with vim. Seems as
though it works fine depending on what telnet terminal program I'm using to
access the BBS. I'll have to take that up with developers at a later time.
My question with vim is, and as we have compared in the past, it seems as
though when I type a word at the end of the line, it isn't wrapping the whole
word to the next line, but rather doing the same thing nano does and crops the
word wherever it hits the end of the line and wraps the rest of the word to the
next.
I thought vim didn't do that, so am I missing an option somewhere? Or is this
possibly something that is not done when using restricted mode?
Regards,
Nick
