nah... AV wouldn't set it to read-only... if it was thought to be infected
in some way, it would be quaranteened and other alarms would be going
off... the firewall wouldn't come into play as firewalls generally don't
stop specific files generated locally like this one is...

i seriously believe it to be a setting in the file system if it is what i
think it is...
