 GG>         The height has nothing to do with the volume of sound it can

 The silver had 3 12" and the platinum 4 12" drivers of Carver's
 design.   They had a long excursion, low compliance, and high "q" to
 off set panel size related losses at the lower frequencies.  They are
 said to give a honest 3db output at 20hz.
