I took a look into it again, and figured out why I had stopped tinkering with
it. Synchronet itself doesn't add initials to quoted text, so in order for me
to be happy just using nano from the BBS, I would have to create a bash script
that would run on the MSGTMP file created to do just that, before nano loaded
it up for editing.

It did however give me a chance to change up some of the settings and at least
make it available to users (in restricted mode, of course). Unfortunetely
there's no way to syntax color while in restricted mode, though.. 

We'll see.
