subject: KTX V32 Problem?

Yello, All..

Does anyone have any comments on the KTX 33k6 modem, in particular has
anyone else noticed what appears to be a V32 incompatibility?
At the moment it could be just limited to Maestro V32SE's but I'm not
sure yet, that's why I'm asking for comments :>

The story is that one KTX 33k6 I've called just plain wouldn't connect
to the 9600 - it completely ignored the V32 tone. The other KTX had
major 'lag' and syncing problems with the V32, eg. 8+ retries during
file xfers, taking a full minute to react to the 'Esc's and pass from
the mailer to the BBS - it was actually almost like a one-way
connect, I'd Rx from the KTX, but it wouldn't Rx from me. Both were
solved by locking baud down to 2400.

Comments?
