I don't think it does....yet.

What I mean by that is that so long as it was a hobby OS put together by
geeks over the net then I'd agree. Some progers are/were genius'es, some
closer to a lump of clay.....

However once you have groups/comps like the NSA, IBM, HP etc betting
"their farms" on Linux then people in possibly many
corps/groups/orgs do start seriously crawling over the code. i.e I reckon
we're right at the start of this really as Linux/OSS has only just started
being seriously adopted by serious players (e.g. banks, security agencies
etc)
