Kathy,
I suggest that you consider the purchase of quickbooks older version for 
"$18", then immediately call quickbooks direct and order the quickbooks pro 
version. As an existing user, they will often give you substantial discounts. 
As  far as the cost of the pro version, there is a possibility that you can 
get it for around $100 (+ or -).
The pro version is nice it will handle payables, recievables, inventory, 
payroll... Also, when setting up it will provide suggested chart of accounts 
for various industries and will interview you throughout the set up. (Don't 
worry you may change preferences after the setup is complete.
