I agree, although it means I can't listen to my favourite background
music station. I wonder if Austel actually check for radiated noise
output, i.e. RFI/EMI ?

Appears you've had some bad experiences with Netcomm ? I have too,
upgrading some of their earlier 1200 to 2400 baud Smart/Auto/Modems,
but we had several E7F and M7F (14k) they seemed to work well, hence
the purchase of several M34F's, they also seem to work well.
So what are some of your favourites?
