I am experiencing difficulties running DataEase 4.53 under NT Workstation 4
in conjunction with a NetWare 3.12 server.

I have taken two Network traces one under Windows 3.11 using VLM kit 1.21
for DOS and one under NT using IntraNetware Kit 4.11a.

When DataEase saves a form it creates a file on the server and then closes
the file, then the application modifies the file attributes to make the file
shareable. It completes this process by making NCP request code 70 (Set
File Attributes Request). This is correct and it works correctly.

However this is not the case when I try the sane process under NT it modifys
the file attributes with NCP request code 87,7 ( Modify File or
Sub-Directory DOS information request ). The file attributes do not get
modified to shareable.

Can you help ?

Thanks - Andy
