subject: Bug Report: MEC file processing

Wes:

I'm starting to pull over my .mec files from my OS/2 BBS to the Linux box
for testing. I believe that part of the problem with pausing on login is
problems with mecca / bbs file handling.... I found that a link line,
using [Nline][onexit] at the begining of the mecca file, in one mecca file
to another mecca file is not properly finding the file when given in mixed
case. Paths are relative. When I (a) changed the file name to all lower
case, (b) changed the link line so that both the path and name (without
extension) were lower case, (c) deleted the .mec file under the old case,
and (e) reran mecca on the files, the on-exit worked.....

Further update, it is the mixed case in the PATH in the [onexit] that is
causing problems. The old lines had [onexit]Misc\ and I have
to change theses to [onexit]misc\ to get them to work. So, I
expect there are a number of default .mec files that need editing to work
with the current code.

In further testing, this only impacts execution of the .mec scripts. When
you hit the bug, the [onexit] link is ignored and .mec / .bbs file
processing stops at that point. It has no impact to the timing pause, at
least as far as I've dug at this point.....
