Hi Paul RM> The real reason I asked was to see if you had fun with file RM> handles. I ran into the 20 limit real fast. Found a solution called RM> relocate() that uses dos interrupt 0x67 in the Snippets file, RM> though, but it took some work to get it running: PE> Silly boy, just run PKTJOIN over them. BFN. With all the info Paul M has supplied in SORTPKT, I reckon I could *write* a Pktjoin in a day or two. Dunno if it would improve the overall speed, though, I'd be handling the files three times instead of twice. Anyway, this file handle limit is something I'd like to check out. What is PKTJOIN, btw? Will it run in 300k? Cheers --- PPoint 1.80* Origin: Silicon Heaven (3:711/934.16) SEEN-BY: 711/809 934 @PATH: 711/934 |
