I've been trying to get NW Connect 2.0 to work on our NW 4.11 network
without much success and I was looking for some suggestions. Here is the
situation:

I built a NW 4.10 server to dedicate to Connect (no prob) and installed the
Connect software (also not a problem). The problem is getting users in
other containers to have access to the Connect server modems. I set the
Connect Rights Level at the [Root] so everyone should be able to use it, but
only the users in the container where the server and Connect objects exist
can use it. According to everything I've read, the placement of the server
and object do not affect users' access, the rights level does (which is set
at the [Root]). Checking the effective rights, the Connect object has
everything it needs to the whole network. It doesn't even work if I give it
full supervisor rights at the [Root] and give the [Root] full rights to the
object (I was getting desperate).

This may not mean anything, but does anyone know what the icon looks like in
NDS? The Connect object appears as a white box with a question mark in it
and I'm unable to access the Details option. I do not know if this is
normal because all documentation that came with Connect was printed in 1995
and the Novell stuff online isn't all that much help either.

If you have any suggestions, please email me at lucid@intersatx.net. Thank
you so much!

Dave
