MF>Recently a court in New Zealand decreed that the Black Box Recording
MF>of a domestic crash a couple of years ago be given over to the police
MF>for the purpose of investigating possible criminal charges against
MF>the aircrew for negligence or somethingorother... there was a hellova
MF>lot of question about whether the aircrew were a little .. whats the
MF>word.. damn its slipped... 'slack' about their conduct on the flight.
MF>This decision has made pilots all over start questioning the validity
MF>of the IVR as they believed only air accident investigators would
MF>ever hear them...
I had heard some thing about in the news in passing? So it's true
MF>Some domestic pilots in NZ have elected to disable them during flight
MF>as its not actually compulsary for domestic flights...
MF>What are the opinions of the readers?
