The XMSGAPI library that timEd uses is a heavily modified (but very portable)
fork of SMAPI.
From memory, my changes would break the Husky builds, although I recall Msged
can be built with XMSGAPI.
Their changes to SMAPI breaks the timEd code.
So it's not an easy thing.

The UNIX port of timEd is still "alpha" quality. Use it at your own risk...
You should look into why Msged is crashing.
