AM> Could anyone confirm that the Rockwell 56 kbps
AM> protocol will initially only be available for US mu-
AM> law systems, and not A-law systems as used by other
AM> countries including Australia?
All the Australian modem makers listed by Rockwell, eg Banksia, NetComm,
have given April for the shipping of their K56 products, whereas most US
makers give February or March.
When I first saw that it got me curious, perhaps you may have something.
Interestingly with NetComm, they have indicated they will provide both
Rockwell based K56Flex modems and TI based X2 modems.
Could we see Sportsters and Couriers with NetComm stickers?
