will you make patches to smapi ?

i will consider make it to gentoo ebuilds, my msged crash to much here, but
fair its very old compile and i belive if it was compiled today it would be
stable again, but to have both msgapi and smapi would be nice to see supported
if possible, does husky work with msgapi ?
