subject: Changeover from IRex Bink

Hello All.

I am considering changing from IRex's BinkP server to using binkd (OS/2
version). There will no doubt be lots of questions, first of which will be in
configuring it to run and do all the stuff that is built into IRex's
implementation of BinkP (like running certain .bat or .cmd files to move
incoming Fido stuffs to their proper directories, etc.

The version I have shows this about itself:

-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-CUT-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
[c:\binkd]BINKD2E -vv
Binkd 1.0.4 (Aug 25 2014 09:23:44/OS2)
Compilation flags: gcc (emx), https, ntlm, amiga_4d_outbound.
Facilities: fsp1035 rfc2553emu
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-CUT-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-

Does this mean that it will not work with a Binkley style outbound?

Is there someplace I can find complete documentation on its set-up and
operation?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Marc
