Maybe I was too hasty in assuming that alt.moose.rights had no regular
followers. Then again, someone logging on to a BBS and looking in the
MooseChat message area could often reach the same conclusion...
I think that many MooseChat meese have been hanging around bears too
much, with the result that we occasionally give a good impression of
hibernating. Who knows, maybe linking MooseChat and alt.moose.rights
will spark a few new message exchanges.
...Meanwhile, this is probably a good moment to mention that
MooseChat often moves at a pretty slow pace. So, with low message
volume, I'll sometimes only run the "gateway" package every couple
days. These factors mean that replies from MooseChat participants
will usually be a little slower than the UseNet norm.
