I don't think so, noted with sadness as I contemplate the fierce
competition here in the USA. Please forgive the drift off topic for this
echo, but I'm compelled to write. As well, there are still reasons to look
at other folks environments when you are about crafting communications
software,

Verizon now offers 24X7 nailed up phone service anywhere in the USA if you
want as well as local for about $55 USD a month and all the options on that
line as well! That same service is available from another carrier, I'm
told, for about $48 USD.

Of course I realize that exchange rates and currency values make for large
differences in pure numbers, but the disparity between what people have
with which to work in various parts of the world is still mind boggling.

It is still amazing what FidoNet is still covering as to differences in the
communications interfaces after yet all the years, and how software which
is written for use with it has to contemplate these facts.

--> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
