The cores are aluminum with plastic tanks these days. I swapped out my
IROC's aluminum core radiator for a brass core radiator, but it still had
plastic tanks. With the Z28, the engine is all aluminum, so the aluminum
radiator remains in the car as it is protected by the coolant as much as
the engine is.
