UGH! thats how Synchronet does it alright. one of the reasons I rather stick with the older Maximus approach. I only have one dialup line and since the bbs is likely to be removed from the internet due to cost, then the one console to one com port sounds perfectly fine to me. The only reason right now why I have to use agetty/getty to run as a bbs user as that I also wanted my dialup users to be able to access their shell accounts without having to go through the bbs.
