Timed was actually quite popular here in BC too at one time. I remember when
the net153 echoes were active timed showed up in tearlines quite often.. :)

Timed may be abandoned but at least Gerrard released the source when he was
done with it. I actually have a linux version of it here but it only supports
squish bases and I don't have any of those here ATM.
