Well, this does help explain why you don't "get it" when it comes
to open source.

When a programmer fixes an open source bug, everyone benefits, not just the
programmer.  All the users benefit.  The program/project benefits. The
programmer benefits too, but probably not as much as the others because she
is the one who put the work in.

Stop thinking it is over once the fix is done.  It's not.  It's just begun.
