LT>-> SL> Even with the -16 code the modem hangs with "RT" when it drops
LT>-> DTR SL>on some callers. Its quite annoying. I must be there to
LT>-> push the SL>power button off/on
LT>I have the same problem Patrick. It happens with all 4 of my Supra
LT>external V.34 modems. Since updating to the -17 code, it doesn't seem
LT>to happen as often, but does lockup occassionally.
LT>It seems to happen when a caller drops carrier while connected to the
LT>BBS. The modem stays off-hook and the display cycles as if a 300 baud
LT>caller was online, with the display showing a "3" for connect speed.
LT>The modems will stay like this and will not reset until I manually
LT>turn them off and then back on. Any ideas as to what could be causing
LT>this? The setup string I used was AT&F2W1S11=50L0M0&W&W1.
The modem is getting stuck in an invalid state. The
odd thing is that I have yet to have it happen here,
so its hard to fix what I can't duplicate. I do have
S30=90 set here. S30 (if all is working correctly)
causing the modem to disconnect after a certain period
without data movement...in this case 15 minutes).
