I'm in love with the idea, now! It really works well. I just write a
temp file in the root directory, swap the data back and forth, and
erase it! Have you got any other free tips?

RS> Yeah, no real elegant solution that I am aware of. The problem

I was trying it out last night, and it immediately became obvious
that it's a bloody nuisance having to look up a new bbs address before
you can write the req file. I thought I'd put the bbs address in the
memo section and create the req file automatically.

I'm looking at two ways to run it: as a command line "tm devil" that
sets up the req files before you dial; or from within Telemate with
the devil script already installed, and req the files online. It's
beginning to look quite practical. It's certainly very quick to freq!
Calling DOS programs from within a script works like a charm.

RS> And a script is over and done with once its working fine. The
RS> UI you are stuck with every time you use it.

True! Now I've got it working, I like Telemate again :-)

Bob
