I'm not sure how to do a silent install.  I'm sure there might be a way, but
its over my head.

Once its installed though, go to the control panel, network options, click
on the Netware client and go to properties.  There are quite a few you
should get familiar with but on the Advanced Properties there is a setting
along the lines of "Show Novell System Tray Icon" and toggle it off.  You
also might want to check the printer default settings and on mine, I have it
clearing out the user name at login.  More secure and easier if your users
move about.
