Paul dropped by again just after I sent the message you're responding to
and now we can 'talk' directly machine to machine without the wireless
router.  He has his hooked up to a satellite dish he found at a local
dealer that was slightly damaged so he got it for a song.  A tad overkill
methinks but what the heck eh?  Use it or lose it.

I'll have to ponder what I'll do at this end but I am sure it won't involve
a satellite dish ... although I could if I wanted to.
