Bob,
Thanks for your insights. I will experiment with the burgandy pitch and
possibly evaporate some
solvents to make a harder pitch. I may mix some of my overflow Gugolz 65. I
am not in a hurry and
I love to experiment, ( I guess thats why my first mirror is 5/8"
thick) It is not a walk in the park to
figure but more like a camp out until the fire goes out. The campfire is
still blazing and I have
many more logs to put on the fire. That may sound corny but I have found
a way to create an eye
to the universe by my own hands ( as many have before) and it feels good on
the trip to the star test.
Thanks to all on the list for their comments and advice, I
will continue to let everyone know
my progress as time goes on, I myself enjoy reading others journeys through
this age old process
of making a flat piece of glass into a window to the cosmos by their own
hand... grind on, polish on,
and figure the best you can do, all this equals determination,
experimentation, and exploration in the end. May the stars pull your gaze
to deeper understanding of the world we live in.
Russ Jocoy
PS sorry I got a little deep there...
