Hey Nicholas!

NB> Just giving you some UTF-8 text, is all.

Ah! Thank you and it worked out just fine.

NB> I'm currently using 2.5.2 on both of my systems, and haven't had a
 NB> problem with it.

I just checked and see;

  1964016 Feb 12 05:31 nano-2.5.2.tar.gz
  1967760 Feb 25 21:51 nano-2.5.3.tar.gz

Not too far apart and I might look at both to see if there is any real
difference. I always thought using nano as a fidonet editor, not unlike how
the pine email system uses it, was/is a good idea. A pine-like fidonet enduser
setup might be attractive to some.

 NB> Msged may be similar,

Somewhat except a lot less fancy. The end result is the same.

NB> As for WeBeBashing, as I've always told you, once you get it
 NB> user/sysop friendly..

It has more hope as an offline tool. So far I haven't been tempted to write
anything beyond what I currently have working and I suspect if I did it would
behave similar to multimail except totally different. For one thing it
wouldn't require a BBS door but instead use a binkp exchange type dealie not
unlike what sysops are currently using for exchanging pkt's. I suppose using a
point setup would allow usage of binkd and save writing any speciallized code
for user/node protocol(s).

NB> I'll give it a test run (which may in fact require curses based
 NB> menuing/lists/etc). :)

If it gets that far your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I liked the
binkd utf-8 password setup we had going. Something like that might be a good
starting point except more end user orientated. Something to think about.

Life is good,
Maurice
