        do not look at this in this fashion, not only dot matrix
  printers but any printer at all, inkjet too, as long as they
  ahve a prallel connection to LPT1. All my inkjets here now are
  USB machines.

        When I was on the C=64 or 128, I had an address in
  Illinois that provided just any type of ribbon. eBay or Google ?
