subject: GCC for OS/2 version question

ML> Seeing as how one looks like one might really need GCC

Yes.... That is one goal. For SqaFix, it would be nice to have GCC
running under OS/2 now..... Similar for Squish, but a few more issues for
that code.... The Maximus code has even some additional issues with
getting the Linux GCC port running back on the OS/2 setup.....

Thanks for the comments. Guess I need to up the BPS rate on the telnet net
ports that Maximus uses to compute amount of time needed for downloads.

Well, be more straight forward with your message over there....

Between what types of platforms? Console video is a bit rough, but running
(somewhat) on the Linux port.... We're still working on the user's side of
the connection. Since the basics of the console video are working (thanks
to Wes), we're looking at other code issues that aren't yet working, or are
needed to get a fidonet node running.... Basically, I believe we are using
curses (or ncurses) and making sure we run in VT-100 / ANSI-PC terminal
mod. Max has built in VT-100 / ANSI-PC terminal support, so trying to use
curses to "adjust" to a different terminal type will fail --
dramatically if the other terminal is significantly different from a VT-100
on it's escape sequences.

Anyone have an old behive terminal or Haziltine 1500 that would like to
join in and help with the Maximus port?

Take care....
