Regretfully, I think much legislation divides between those who vote
for purposes of conscience, and those who vote for purposes of money.

This is a discussion I have been following out here in Jersey. I think
that what happens to that California decision is going to have a lot of
impact on other states.

I'm not even sure the general public cares whether the laws are enforced
or not. I've encountered a very *so what?* attitude among many people
about the sale of tobacco and alcohol to underaged patrons.
