Arrow it was explained why they aliens were killing humans, I
could plainly see that they were using the humans for a food source.

Transwarp drive was mentioned in STTNG. There was talk about it on a
couple of the episodes. When Picard was 'assimilated' he unwillingly gave
all
information of knowlegde about everything he knew to the borg. He may have
n
own something of transwarp drive. (i.e. Where no One had Gone Before). I
el
ieve in this episode they were discussing Transwarp drive.

This could be a way of explaining why skin pigment changes to grey.
Nce
the blood cells have been taken over, the skin pigment changes. I have no
idea why they would need to take over blood cells, but it may have to do with
re-establishing the amount of oxygen flow to the brain because of the newly
emplanted borg chips.
Star Trek is just a television show, of course they are going to have
loopholes and parasoxes, but if you use your imagination, I am sure you can
some up with a good reason why something happened in the Star Trek universe.
